Rebound is a 1v1 basketball game. This policy explains what data is processed when you play, and by whom. The short version: we do not ask for, collect, or store any personal information on our own servers. The game has no account system in its current version. The only data processing happens on your device, and by Google services that power ads and purchases.
Game settings (such as sound on/off) and gameplay progress are saved locally on your device. They never leave it, and uninstalling the app deletes them.
The game shows ads served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect and process data such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, and ad-interaction events. This processing is governed by Google's own policies:
Where required by law (for example in the EEA/UK), you will be shown a consent form (Google User Messaging Platform) before personalized ads are served, and you may choose non-personalized ads. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in your device's Google settings (Settings → Google → Ads).
Optional in-app purchases (such as a stage pass that removes ads for a stage) are processed entirely by Google Play. We never see or store your payment details. Purchase records are managed by your Google account. Refunds are handled according to Google Play's refund policy.
Rebound is not directed at children under 13, and is rated accordingly on Google Play. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through our app, contact us and we will address it.
We do not sell personal data. We do not share data with any third party other than the Google services described above, which operate under their own policies.
We hold no personal data on our servers, so there is nothing for us to retain or delete. Local data is deleted when you uninstall the app. For data processed by Google (advertising), see Google's privacy controls linked above.
Future versions of the game may add features (such as online play or leaderboards) that change what data is processed. This page will be updated before any such change takes effect, and the "last updated" date will reflect it.
